The lone Tree - Page 3 Empty Re: The lone Tree

Post by Red Tue Nov 04, 2014 6:51 pm

I pant and leap across the bank and I yelp my hind legs slipping in. I quickly yank them out and I continue not really going anywhere. I sit down in the snow frosted ground and I lick the water of my hind legs and lower back. I sigh and I leap on top of a boulder and lie down exhausted. Soon sleep comes to me.

Melody came back trying as hard as she could to be silent as she walked back to the tree. On the way, she passed Red who seemed soaking wet and asleep. She paused at the grave, trying to avoid Silver who was laying there. She sniffed at it, catching the scent of burning wood. Timber. But she wasn't going to cry, for there was no reason. She was Melody, with Timber still inside her. She had been given a second chance, apparently she hadn't finished that job she longed to get away from. She glanced down at Silver with slight shock. The fae who'd used to seem so huge seemed almost... normal sized in comparison. Melody was average, so Silver was only a little bigger. Along with Alisen, who she had seen briefly before. Red was tiny. She turned to glance at Red, then back at Silver. "Please... cheer up." She whispered sadly, then padded away. Silver had been recently asleep, and she doubted Red could hear her from the distance. She made it to where the white wolf was, and nodded politely. "Hello, Alisen... did I get the name right?" She asked, tilting her head. "I'm Melody, kinda new here." She smiled friendly, almost hearing Melody's brain hiss in annoyance. The wolf had been quite the loner, basically hating others. Well, that would have to change. Her green eyes twinkled with a kind light.

Ngoma: I walk gracefully up the rocks toward the tree. A few moons had passed since the murder of my mother and I had to go somewhere. I smile slightly as I come near my destination and I leap up to the ledge. I look about and I see three wolves and I walk up to them. "Hello." I bark short and flat and I sit down.

Melodys ears prick at the sound of a new wolf entering the land. She turned behind her, tilting her head at the black and tan wolf. She seemed friendly, though her tone was flat. At least, she had gone out of her way to say hello to them all. So, Timber smiled in return. Melodys brain was going into overload. It burned with hatred for wolves, and Timber was still trying to figure out how to fix that. Her guess was, however, that she had some sort of brain defection. Since her soul was gone, no feelings or grudges should have showed, but her brain still burned with hatred for almost any living thing. It was confusing, so she decided to let it wait. She'd think about it later if she had time, which was likely. "Hello to you too! I'm T-... Melody. What brings you here?" She mentally bit herself. She was Melody, not Timber. Timber was the name wolf laying in the grave, not the name of the wolf standing in the snow. She was Melody now, and she couldn't let her secret out for obvious reasons. She smiled again at the wolf with a friendly expression.

I nod my head in return. "I am Ngoma and I come very far from the south, and I am here to find a pack." I bark. I look at the others why were they all in one spot? "Might this be a pack?" I ask "And if not where might I find one." I add in. I rise to my paws scenting a led near by. "Not good." I whisper under my breath. I don't trust males now after my mother's death a few moons ago.

Melody glanced behind her in the direction Red had gone, contemplating the question. She didn't know. Before, she would've urged Silver to start a pack, and pleaded that Red joined. They'd been her only friends... and she'd lost them. She turned back to the wolf. "Nice name, Ngoma. I don't think this is a pack... there was a funeral for a wolf here." She kept her tone even, she wasn't sad about it, but also wasn't happy to have died. She nodded vaguely in the direction of the swamplands. "That-a-way theres a wolf whos looking to start a pack, I think." She glanced over at Silver. If not, she'd be a fine leader, but 'Melody' didn't know Silver. She wasn't supposed to know any of them.

Ngoma: I nod "Thank you err Melody." I bark and I walk up to the silvery wolf. I prod her with my fore paw to wake her up. "Excuse me but I heard you were trying to start a pack." I bark I whine slightly the male scent getting closer.

Red: I yawn and awaken and I shake my pelt. I decide that I could come back. I leap up the rocks a new smell entered my nose when I get closer. I make the finally leap and I land on the ledge and I spot a new wolf. "Hello." I bark to the wolf.

Melody shrunk back as far as she could manage without looking too suspicious. She needed to get out of there. "Well, good luck Ngoma! Cya round!" She barked in a kind tone, before turning and practically tripping over her own tail. She ran off, stumbling occasionally as she made it to the river. She muttered something angrily under her breath. She doubted Melody had been a clutz like Timber, so she had no one to blame for this. She panted as she looked into the water, lapping up some as she glanced behind her worriedly. She'd looked insane just then, likely. There as no halfway about that for her. Everyone thought she was crazy, Melody had a broken brain, so what was seriously stopping her from going over the edge? She shrugged, flicking a stone into the water. No idea.

The lone Tree - Page 3 Empty Re: The lone Tree

Post by Timber Mon Feb 02, 2015 6:11 pm

(yes yes yes. Double post. It's not like anyone else is gonna, though, right?)
This had been a weird amount of time. Timber wasn't even sure how long it had been anymore. Her head hurt. There, one thing she knew. She sighed, opening her eyes, which hurt kind of too. Like when you open your eyes after closing them for a while, and seeing sunlight. She looked around, now, seeing where she was. The mountain, a tree. Seemed familiar. She yawned, shaking the dirt out of her fur. Where had it come from? She frowned, looking down at her paws. Red brown fur. She flicked her ear, memory suddenly returning, like a punch to the snout. She had died. She had been Melody. Now she was Timber again. She sat down, more or less falling like that, and sniffed herself. No blood. Perfect condition. Mind working. After her strange week, she couldn't find anything to say. So she didn't say a thing. She just sat there, and waited for the confusion to find her.

Red: I tilt my head as the black wolf dashes off then I shrug and lie down near the grave. I toss a glance at the she wolf staying a good distance away. I yawn rest my head over my crossed legs. "Hey Silver who was that black wolf?" I ask her.

The lone Tree - Page 3 Empty Re: The lone Tree

Post by Timber Mon Feb 02, 2015 8:01 pm

Timbers ears perked at a familiar voice. That was Red... but no, Yente had told her he was visiting the coyotes... Who was Yente? She tried to remember, and got a sharp jolt in return. Another punch from her brain. Maybe Jaghund had brought him here, she reasoned with herself. But this, of course, aroused other questions. Who was Jaghund? A lion, she remembered the appearance. She also remembered exploding... being in a very dark place. So dark that even Stone would have been scared, but he was dead, so it didn't matter. That thought made her freeze. Not literally, but it was a shock. Stone... was dead? Couldn't be right. He was back with Nara and the pack, he wouldn't have died, right? She wanted to remember, but something told her it wasn't a good idea. She also wanted to whine, but she could guess that was a bad idea too. So, she took a deep breath, and turned toward the tree. Her bright green eyes scanned the area, which had been her grave. The dirt seemed a little dug up next to the tree, where Red was. She tilted her head in confusion. Had she dug her way out? Where was Silver, anyways? She swung her head to the right, then left, then realized the grey wolf was right there, by the tree. She was confused, but padded forward. It was better than backwards, after all.

I whip my head toward the figure of Red-brown fur. "Silver!" I yelp happily and dash toward Timber leaping happily. "She's alive Silver!" I smile and leap circles around her. "I can't believe it!" I grin and bump head with her in greeting.

The lone Tree - Page 3 Empty Re: The lone Tree

Timber tilted her head, sitting down after the greeting. More questions flooded her mind. Of course she was alive, right? She had been for the past months. Seconds had passed... yet months in her mind. She shook her head like she was trying to get water off of her nose. "Yea, apparently. Good to see you guys." She looked up at the sky, furrowing her brows in confusion. She glanced at her grave and padded over, careful to not disturb Silver. She dug it up, finding nothing. The ground was softer than it should have been, though. She frowned again, and glanced from wolf to wolf. "Hey, funny question... what the zut happened?" She laughed falsely, once.

The lone Tree - Page 3 Empty Re: The lone Tree

Post by Timber Mon Feb 02, 2015 10:06 pm

Timber tilted her head at Red, confused. Some things she wouldn't like to hear? In two seconds? She figured she'd heard it, unless he had the memory of the months, which she had, though she didn't want to. She thought rapidly, glancing at Silver. She wanted to make sure without sounding like an idiot, or insane wolf. What could she say? She thought about names, and memory that seemed kind of fuzzy. She glanced at red again, who seemed like he'd been watching over her grave. She knew he had, as she'd seen him as Melody, actually. "Dude, have you been getting any sleep lately? You look like a Red-beast." She said, keeping her head tilted in confusion. She didn't remember this memory all-together, but she did remember an insane looking version of red snarling in a labyrinth, and Jaghund calling it the red-beast. This, of course, sounded more like a memory than a nightmare, but it would have to do.

I laugh "No not much but hey at least you remember Red-beast!" I bark excitedly sure it wasn't the best memory but it would have to do. "So how did it feel to be alive again?" I bark "How did your pelt change so quickly!"

Post by Timber Mon Feb 02, 2015 10:22 pm

Timber looked down at her red-brown fur. "I have no zuttin' clue, really." She glanced at Silver, wondering how insane she could sound without scaring her dear friend. "It seems longer than it has been, though." She said carefully, hoping Silver would just assume she'd slept. Sleep can mess with your head sometimes. She glanced at Red warily, who also remembered Red-beast. "I don't remember the story, entirely, and I don't really want to try, but there was a Dire-beast too, correct?" Her mind raced without her control. Yes, Dire-beast. Almiko had wanted to talk to him when it all was solved, but Jaghund didn't want her to. Timber had tried to stop Jaghund, and they ended up fighting. She called her bluff, which was... was... Her mind punched her again, as if to scold her. Bad Timber, you don't want to remember that. But she wasn't Timber without her memories, right?

"Yeah but it wasn't a purdy story." I sigh "Well that transformation was pretty cool." I sniff her fur "Well you smell like Timber. Do you still remember Melody's memories?" I ask her. The thought had been in my mind for a while.

Timber nodded, looking in the direction she had been when she was Melody. "That was one messed up wolf. I'm glad Ngoma was nice to her, though." It seemed easier to remember things from before the time skip, or whatever. That word, purdy, had struck up another memory. The butterfly, though that was before. Before she died as well, actually. She sniffed her paw, which still smelled like her, but death too, and another smell. The same smell as the dark place had smelled. What was it called? Yente had said it often enough. It was a title, she was... another mind punch. She didn't care anymore. She searched through her mind again, and found it. Her head hurt, but she knew now. A Creationer. The wolf standing near her was a Bunker. Jaghund. Yente. This world was already confusing, and now this had to be added into the mix? She sighed in annoyance, but it didn't really matter.

Post by Alisen Mon Feb 02, 2015 11:25 pm

Alisen stands in the distance looking at the two wolves near the tree. She stands up straite her white fur clean and pure like her soul. She doesn’t take her eyes away from the two eve when her brothers come to her sides. Alisen just speaks “Who are they, truly. We shall seek the answer, together my brothers.” Alisen says.

Coal and Steel both walk toured the two wolves blocking their sister from view entirely. Steel in quiet and stiff as he moves toured the two strangers, but Coal is whispering thing to himself and to Steel in a low husky voice.

Timber looked over at the other Alisen, nodding politely to the wolf, then to her brothers. She forgot which one, but one had tried to help her when she was insane. Alisen had tried too, which she was grateful for. She then realized Alisen had seen her be buried, obviously dead. So she wagged her tail and grinned, as if there was nothing wrong in the world. Wolf came back to life? Sure, why not! "Hello, Alisen. I'm Timber, remember me?" She didn't take the grin off her face, and she doubted anything could, really. She wondered what Alisen remembered her as, though. Insane wolf, dead wolf, who really knew?

Coal growls at the male for no apparent reason but to tell him to stay away from Alisen, he’s merely being a good but over protective brother but his growl is rather intimidating. Steel nods a hello to both wolves and steps back to Alisen’s left side, remaining silent and respectful.

Alisen nods to them both then looks at Coal and sends him a look that causes him to move to Alisen’s other side and lower his head in embarrassment. Alisen then smiles at the timber “It seems the dead shall walk, ounce more,” She says in a velvet yet teasing tone. She looks over at Red and sends him a kind, sweet, grin. “And don’t mind my brother he’s merely over protective, he’s truly a big lug.” Alisen says nudging her older brother with a teasing smirk.

Timber laughed, even though the comment made her seem like a walking dead extra. She was confused though, on why Alisens brother was being protective. She glanced at Red, trying to read his expression. Did he have a crush on Alisen? Something in the back of her head told her she was wrong, but she didn't know.
