The swamplands Empty The swamplands

The swamplands Ilebizard_swamp

Here is an area much like a swamp. Not a good source of food around here, and danger lurks under the waters. Be careful where you tread, because the ground isn't always as solid as it seems. An Aqua Mist wolf would do well here, but it would still be hard for them to cope with the amount of swimming you would have to do. This territory is currently unclaimed.

The swamplands Empty Re: The swamplands

Post by Timber Fri Oct 10, 2014 10:59 pm

Timbers little feet twitched as she dreamed. There was a little humming noise, and she couldn't get it out of her head. Moon barked something inaudible, and she bolted upright, wondering what she'd missed. A lot, apparently. She was up to her paws in scum water, like the outlands in Aqua Mist. She shivered, guessing Akuma was gonna show up any second and yell at her, but nothing happened. Taking a cautious step forward, Timber went onto a log. Dry ground, in a sense. She took a moment to take in her surrounds as she thought. One second she'd been looking up at a bee hive, talking with Silver, then BAM. She woke up here, which wouldn't be so bad if she knew where 'here' was, and how she could get back to the pack.
The area was swampy, which she'd already learned from her paws covered in muck. There were a few trees, and further away there was deep water. A river, maybe. She shivered, automatically backing away from it, momentarily forgetting she was on a small patch of sturdy land. She fell into the water again, yelping and jumping out again. She shook herself, trying to dry off, but the damage had been done. She was soaked. At least it wasn't cold out. The air was humid and buggy, but the bugs couldn't get through her fur. She laughed, remembering how Red always seemed to have fleas. Then she froze, a sudden sad realization coming to her. She was alone. Utterly alone, in a strange new place. First thought- Am I dead? No. If she was dead, she could fly, which she definitely couldn't. Had humans come and relocated them? She'd only seen a human once, but she knew they'd take wolves away if they got to close to their dens. She sighed, laying down and putting her head in her paws. There was no explanation, but she'd find her friends again. To her, they were family. Family didn't abandon each other in times of need. So, turning away from the river, she struggled through the swamp, calling out "Silver? Where'd you go?", and the same with Red and Alisen, and Moon, and other various names. Eventually, she sat down, curling her sopping wet tail around her paws, and hummed a little tune Pine had taught her when she was little. If they were near, they would've heard her.

The swamplands Empty Re: The swamplands

Post by Silver Sat Oct 11, 2014 4:26 pm

As Silver walked wandering what had happened to every one she sniffed the air and could smell a familiar scent that belonged to one of her close friends, Silver remembered the last thing she was doing till she ended up here, she was watching Timber as she looked at a bee hive and she was talking to Timber and then POOF shes here in a swamp like thing. What had happened? Silver thought. As she kept walking she thought she heard her name being called out, but when she turned she saw nothing but swampness, then she heard a tune being sung and remembered that Timber once song it. Thinking of Timber Silver ran to the place where the sound was coming from, she could not believe her eyes as they landed on Timber as she lay on the ground. "Timber?" Silver said as she looked at the wolf on the ground.

The swamplands Empty Re: The swamplands

"Silver!" Timber barked, immediately standing up. That voice... was definitely Silvers. Scanning her surroundings, she couldn't see anything. Funny. A grey wolf wouldn't blend in that much with the green and brown. A snake slithered behind her, with a white head, and she took long steps backwards through the slop. Finally she saw her friend, standing in the swamp maybe a few yards away. This confirmed she was not dead. At least, probably not. She struggled through the mud, making it over to where Silver stood. "Silver! What happened?" She asked, glancing around the swamp nervously. This place was bringing back memories of Aqua Mist, which reminded her or Storm and Akuma. Looking back up at the wolf, she frowned. "Don't suppose you know where we are?" Timber was getting worried. Through the humid stench of rotting wood, she could barely smell Silver. There was no way of telling who, or what, else was around. Was the alphess around? What had happened to the wolves in other territories, like Alisen, Red, and Fell? Were they still home, or had then been taken? So many questions swirled in her head, and she couldn't focus on one. Sighing, she tried to clear her mind by humming again. It was a nice song Pine had taught her, a little eerie, but nice. She missed him. She missed Storm, and Golden, and even rotten Akuma. Timber would've liked to meet her step-bro.

I walk in a random direction bored. Life alone was boring how I wish to have the packs back. I keep walking and I come a pon a swamp land. There was familiar smells and two I know but I stay away yet I watch them from a distance. The wind blows in my face their scents coming to me "Good very good." I bark quietly watching and excited.

The swamplands Empty Re: The swamplands

Post by Fenris Sat Oct 11, 2014 6:33 pm

It didn´t take Fenris long until almost his entire limbs were totally covered by the murky water of the swamp. Where was he? Walking through the thickened water was hard and somewhat made the male exhausted mere moments after he had entered it. A silent, though audible rumbling exited his mouth as he glared, his pupils hitting the water he was staying in hostilely. ´Wo bin ich?1´ his own inner, deep voice kept asking him within his thoughts as he lifted each of his paw to move his frame forward. “Need to get out of here.”
Nostrils flared as different fragnances penetrated his nostrils, making the brute to heighten his cranium as well as his banner, more cautious than assertive, though. He really didn´t want to encouter any canids while he was attempting to go through this swamp. Stopping dead, he´d raise his snout into the air just to take another deep breath, again the different odors filled his lungs, causing Fenris to bare his ivory canines in his mouth while his upper lip lifted, revealing those. “Wieso jetzt? Ausgerechnet in diesem gottverlassenem Sumpf?”2 Almost spitting out the words, he tried his best to ignore the vocals and odors which seemed to grow stronger by every step he took. Was he walking towards them instead of actually away from them?
It didn´t took long before his honey pigmented irises felt upon a body, obviously a she-wolf, soon they´d find another one, one with a silver-ish coat pigmention. With his tail dominantely raised and his incisors bared, he´d glare at them, his gaze shifting from one female to the next one before he took a rather cautious step forward, his rather dark-brown, almost obsidian black more dark-ish due to it being wet. “Wer seit ihr?”3 he inquired with a confident tone, his voice just as rough as his exterior. The charcoal male noticed that he was actually tresspassing territory where english was the usual native tongue and thus, he corrected himself, this time speaking in a way, those females would understand him, though with a weak german accent, “Who are you?”

The swamplands Empty Re: The swamplands

Post by Timber Sat Oct 11, 2014 6:40 pm

Timber tilted her head, hearing an unfamiliar wolf speak what sounded like gibberish. She knew basic Spanish words, like Hola and Adios, but understanding what the wolf was saying was asking too much. He seemed very angry, which took Timber a moment to realize. She glanced at Silver, guessing her friend would react badly to the male acting threatening, one way or another. But that was Silvers choice, and Timber was Timber. She heard him repeat the question, this time in English. Oh, well if you put it that was it made sense. She wasn't sure what to think of the brute acting all superior, but she was not going to let him bully them, as politely as possible, of course. "I'm Timber, Healer of the clan Silver Stones." She said, tilting her head up to look him in the eyes. She probably should have been scared, which was good because she was, but to her it didn't matter. It didn't matter if he killed her, so there was nothing to loose, right? "And who are you?" She questioned, catching a faint whiff of another wolf... but it was too stinky in the swamp to tell who it was.

"Ah crud I mutter." the wind changing blowing my smell to them. I duck down yet I keep my ears perked. I sort have wanted them to see me but maybe I should stay hidden. While debating what I should do the wind blows harder. I grumble and swish my tail agitated with the wind.

The swamplands Empty Re: The swamplands

Post by Timber Sat Oct 11, 2014 7:07 pm

She lifted her nose, trying to figure out who that wolf was. The wind changed direction, and she figured it out. Red! She said nothing, but smiled, happy another one of her friends have survived. She turned back, forcing her tail not to wag. If Red wanted to stay hidden, she decided to let him. Silver would know who it was, of course, but the brute in front of her wouldn't. They probably both had caught the scent, but she didn't want the other wolf attacking Red. Silly, because Red was a warrior and all, but he'd end up with wounds. At least, probably. Timber wasn't in the mood to treat a cut that day, because if she did it would end up infected with her skill, which would lead to bye-bye red. She glanced behind her at Silver again, waiting for someone to say something. She was itching to get away from there... away from the deeper waters that seemed to have something under the surface... but she stood her ground. Her paws were soaked, and underwater, but she was trying not to let it bother her. It was just a little water, not even all that deep. But at every splash, or ripple along the surface, she had to force herself to not wince. She couldn't afford to look scared with the other wolf there, because it would be a sign of weakness. He looked like the type of wolf who would kill a weak wolf, which again didn't matter to her, but she was worried he wouldn't stop there, and attack them all.

I narrow my eyes at the male if he attacked I would go down and help but if he smelled me I would be dog meat. "Oh well." I mutter and pray Timber not blow his cover that last thing I need is a wolf after my hide. I raise my head slightly watching the male close ready to strike it would only take seconds for him to get there.

Silver saw the new male wolf come up to them in a dominante pose, that did not fit well with Silver, every one who knew Silver knew she was a very dominante wolf herself, loking at Timber Silver stepped in front of her in a protective stance ready if the male decided to attack them, Silvers lips pulled up in a snarl as she bared her canines at him giving him a warning not to come any closer. The wind blew and carried another scent with it and Silvers eyes went wide as she knew who that scent belonged too.

Post by Fenris Sat Oct 11, 2014 8:18 pm

Eyeing the damsels carefully, Fenris hold himself high, though there was actually no need to; mother nature already did it for him by forming the females body more delicate than his one. The first one to answer was the tawny female who was flecked with several darker and brighter markings. "I'm Timber, Healer of the clan Silver Stones." She introduced herself, her tone formal while her stance seemed to be a mixture of fear, though somewhat bravery. "And who are you?" Timber inquired the charcoal brute whose brown-ish eyes felt upon her petite frame. “The name is Fenris.” he uttered, no more information nor less were given further on from him.
And actually there was no need for him to say anything else as his irises catched the brave movements of the steel coated female, who rudely bared her incisors at the big bad wolf. With a smirk plastered on his face, Fenris ignored the warning of the female, raising both of his eyebrows in a mockingly way. “Oh und wer bist du, eh?”1 he started, his words, even though they were foreign for the female, taunting her. “Deine hübsche kleine Freunding beschützen, obwohl du selber dem Tode geweiht bist? Hah, wie töricht.”2 Spitting those words nearly out, he already came so close to the fae that his nose almost touched hers, his breath exiting his nostrils and hitting the female´s snout while a smirk of taunt and flirtatiousness. “What is your name, pretty woman?”

Addressed: Timber, Silver \\ Mentioned: Red \\ Word Count: 245 \\ Notes: 1st. Oh and who are you, eh?, 2nd. Protecting your pretty friend, even though you yourself are doomed to die? Hah, how foolish.
Also, by the way, it´s common for him to be somewhat flirty while talking with females, eheh.

Silver saw the male step very close to her face with a smirk on his muzzle as he did so. Silver stoud her ground as she spoke clearly, "im Silver, former Alpha to the Blazing Suns pack." She said as a smirk played on her muzzle. Her eyes never looking down or away from the male in front of her. As she spoke to him her breath blew gently on his fur that was around his face.

The swamplands Empty Re: The swamplands

Post by Timber Sat Oct 11, 2014 8:36 pm

Timber growled lowly, which was unusual for her. No one threatened her friends. No one. She stepped forward, indicating to Silver she could protect herself. She didn't understand the words, but his tone was clear enough. Breifly, she remembered a long time back, almost a year. Black Lips, Silver and Storms adopted son had been threatened by Butcher and Red. They wanted to hunt him down, kill him, and basicly make sure he'd never be around there again. Timber had stood up for him, tiny little her against two warriors. She'd won that battle, and Black Lips was living happily for all she knew.
She heard him flirt with Silver a little, and rolled her eyes. She knew Silver would flirt back, which she did seconds later. Silver simply could not live without a mate, Timber had noticed. If Silver liked the brute, Timber would let them flirt. There was no reason for her to stick around, however. She had never liked anyone, not even a little crush. She'd be happy for Silver if the two were happy together, but she'd go talk to Red if they kept it up.
Turns out she didn't need to, because ran came bounding out of the forest with a fierce expression on his face. He seemed to small, had he shrunk of her grown? Red started threatening the male, tense and prepared for a fight. She tilted her head at him, wondering why he was so mad, because it honestly didn't seem like Silver was in much danger. Still, she trusted Red's instincts, so she too tensed, ready for battle if it came. The healer wouldn't do much good in a fight, but if Red was smaller than her and still ready to take the chance, she would too.

"Im Silver, former Alpha to the Blazing Suns pack." Oh how amusing it was for the german warrior to hear those words coming from her mouth. Her posture remainded the same, maybe a bit more representing his own one than her assertive one what she had mere moments ago. “A silver female with silver eyes and the title of Silver. Interesting.” the brute mumbled, looking the damsel named Silver up and down for a moment before he felt something charge into him, causing him to loose his balance for a moment, though it wasn´t as if the pressure would make him loose it completely. With widened eyes and an enormous growl rumbling in his throat, he swiftly turned his cranium to face his opponent while the red figure was still pressing its body against his. Taking the moment, he snapped his jaws shut, scratching the male´s shoulder as he turned back and stood there, all growling and snarling at the obviously bigger canid. Finally eyeing the male, Fenris realized how pitiful his body way and thus he threw his head back, releasing a loud, taunting laugh before fixing his eyes on him, “Lustig, dass du mich versuchst zu bedrohen. Bilde dir ja nichts ein, Köter!”1 Several times snapping at the air in a threatening way, Fenris glared down at the redd-ish wolf. “Youngsters shouldn´t interfere when adults speak, mongrel!” He spat those words tauntingly at the orange-ish male, his body, even though it should be, was not tensed. He wouldn´t let such a mutt ruin his mood, no. “Now hush.” Tilting his head to the side, he raised his eyebrows, his voice was liquid posion while he whispered those words.

Addressed: Silver, Red \\ Mentioned: Timber [indr] \\ Word Count: 280 \\ Notes: 1st. Funny that you try to intimidate me. Don´t think you are something, mutt!

The swamplands Empty Re: The swamplands

Post by Fenris Sat Oct 11, 2014 10:30 pm

Hearing the obviously smaller in size male shouting at him, indignant about what words had recently exited Fenris rather big mouth, he grinned at him, taunting the male even more, though he didn´t burst out as always and started a real, heavy combat since that petite wolf would loose, for sure. Even if the redd-ish canine may be quick on it´s paws, when Fenris´ jaws shut around him, he´d be done. It was just strength and nothing but strength Fenris represented, though, as mentioned before, he was not interest in a fight, he knew already the ending of.
However, the orange canid decided to stretch out his paw, scratching Fenris snout slightly. Luckily a wolf´s anatomy was not the same as with cats; canids had dull claws, actually a wolf never really used it´s claws to attack it´s opponent since the most effective damage such claws could inflict were that the wound would sting a bit but nonetheless, it was more or less unnecessary. Glaring down at the younger brute, he´d snicker, tilting his head to the site while his banner behind him pointed at the sky in a dominant mannerism, “Watch your step, little brat.” His voice held a surprisingly cool tone, that male seemed really like he wanted a fight with the obisidan beast, though Fenris wouldn´t do him that favor. If he wanted to die, he should search for somebody else, but Fenris was simply in no mood to kill, nor to attack anyone during the time he was still in that swamp. “Do not mock me, lap dog. Know your place.”

Silver watched as Red came from some where in the distance charging at the male in front of us, as Red ran in to him he seemed to not even be fased by him hitting him. Silver kept her place in front of Timber even though Silver knew Timber could take care of her self, i meanTimber is one feirce wolf, she stood up to Butcher when he wanted to hunt Black Lips down, and let me tell you Butcher was one mean wolf and he was huge, seeing tiny Timber stand up to him made Silver have more respect for her ever since then.

Timber rolled her eyes. Honestly, the whole thing was stupid. The brute didn't seem like he was gonna hurt anyone, so why bother attacking? She wasn't happy Silver was still trying to protect her, since there was no need, but whatever. She yawned, faking boredom to get her point across. "Well, I'll be that-a-way if you two are done here." She barked simply, speaking to Silver and Red. There was no point in her being there, seeing as she wasn't much of a fighter. There was no need for that anyways. Tail swishing just above the water level, she made her way through the swamp, away from the wolves. After a bit, she was getting tired, but continued to stumble along. She needed some time to think, which unfortunately meant being away from her friends.
She made it to a place where the humidity seemed to drop, and she smiled. Perfect, she could get out of this swamp. Something in the back of her mind was trying to tell her something, but she wouldn't let it until she had stopped. Glancing behind her, she made sure she wasn't being followed before stepping out of the swamp, and into the new land before her.

Silver watched as Timber left to go do something else for a little while. Silver then looked at Red and said "well im going to explore the lands a little bit, i just cant help myself." Silver said as she turned to walk away and dash off some where new. Since she got here all she wanted to do was find her friends and explore the new land along with doing a bit of running she needed to stretch her legs. And so off she went. Coming back from exploring some of the land she sees Red and Fernis still standing there, she stands next to Red and sits.

Still with the tauntingful smirk plastered on his face, Fenris drew his face from the redd-ish male, though glared down at the tiny one, his eyes literally gleaming with the taunt which was within his honey irises.
Perking his receptors, he noted the two damsels walking away, therefore he and the assertive canid were alone. Snickering lighty, the charcoal brute wouldn´t stop and continue, “Hah, keine Unterstützung mehr? Wie traurig.”1 he spoke in his native tongue, grinning fiendish. “I would think twice about your next actions, otherwise you´ll find your pitiful frame between my jaws.” It was a threat, yes, however it was more of a warning for the unknown one, who certainly didn´t know who Fenris was. “Be careful around the Big Bad Wolf.~”

Silver heard Fenris threaten Red and wandered why they where at each other throats for. Red did not know him and Fenris did not know Red. Silver sighed as she sat next to Red. Whay cant every one just get along, they had no Alpha male or female yet so this was going to be one long day with out any order in the packs. Hmmm.....come to think of it where were the Alphas, Silver asked her self but she said it out loud for Red and Fenris to hear.

Snorting audibly after his tauntingful and slightly eerie comment, Fenris grinned, now totally ignoring the presence of the small aggressive male. “I have better things to do than arguing with a crass male.” Lifting his upper lip slightly, he´d give the male a last warning before finally turning away from him, looking around for the end of the swamp he was still in. “Zum beispiel wie ich hier raus komme... Ich hasse Sümpfe.”1
Paw steps, which seemed to near his location made Fenris charcoal receptors perk for a moment, his nose cringed as the odor of one of those females penetrated through his nostrils once again. Shifting his paws uncomfortably due to him, still standing in the murky liquid, he´d heighten his cranium, as well as his banner to her arrival, acknowledging her presence. However, she seemed rather distant, as if she was thinking about something. Not long and he could perceive a whisper coming from her, Hmmm.....come to think of it where were the Alphas” she inquired herself, though in an audible tone for Fenris and probably the other male to hear. Tilting his head slightly to the side, he´d move his frame towards hers and question while doing so, “What do you mean? Es gab Anführer? Wo sind sie hin?”2 Taking his last step, he stood next to her, his taller frame towering over her silver-ish one, however his body posture was relaxed. He was confident in each of his movements, he knew what he was capable of and that this situation held no danger for him.
